It's in the little things.

It's in the way you said such crude things out of nowhere The way that you grabbed my cup and down the rest of the drink The way that you confidently asked for your drink. The way that you pulled me away from traffic The way that you pulled me in for a kiss The way that you trapped my hand in yours as you drove The way that you shouldn't intrigue me at all Yet you captivated me from that first night

It's in the way that you remember the little quirks about me The way that you teased me about being shy The way that you dropped everything to see me The way that you took me to a barber shop for men The way that you ate an acai bowl for dinner (insert scoff: bachelors). The way that you apologized for being busy, The way that you passionately kissed me after I apologized. The way that you called me friend, Should have kept me far away

It's in the way you showed up to be mine for the night The way that you smiled at me after a long day The way that you tell me you're comfortable with me The way that you said I'm the best masseuse The way that you returned the favour The way that you know exactly what I like The way that you persuaded me to stay So I did, but I knew better

--I know that this is rather different from the usual post; this was just a little writing piece I've been itching to put to words.
